My heart is always full of excitement and love when I think about God. It is really impossible to describe His goodness, mercy, and love to someone else. You should experience it for yourself. I hope each person in this world has an opportunity to know Him and feel His love as it is the most amazing and incredible experience I have ever got.
The past few days have been a little bit rough for me, as I felt like I was experiencing different types of rejections coming from people who I thought were not supposed to do something like that to me. Every time, I kept telling myself to not put so many expectations on people but rather to get what I want and need from God but I did not know how to react in those moments. As someone who has many friends but does not know how to share her struggles with them, I have learned to make God my best friend. I run to Him whenever I am feeling down or when I want to celebrate. I went to Him telling Him how I was feeling at that specific moment and asking Him for forgiveness if I was putting so much pressure on people expecting things that I can only get from Him. Do you know what was His answer? He said that He feels what I was feeling, that He does not condemn me even though I would be asking them too much. I literally felt Him bring me closer to Him to comfort me. He told me to just go into His presence, and everything will be fine.
In His presence, He made me look back on all the things that I have been through, to remind me that He is a faithful God. He reminded me who I was and to whom I was from. He reminded me that even though a mother may forget her child, He can not forget me as He has engraved me on the palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:15). He is a loving Father! He then reminded me of the purpose He has given me. He reminded me that what He has put in me is as unique as He is and that I am contributing to His Kingdom. He reminded me of His truth. He reminded me of what I can do in Him. Guys, our God is a marvelous God! I do not know where I would be without Him!
Maybe you are feeling down right now or you are going through a rough time. I have exciting news for you, He knows how you feel and He does not condemn you! Maybe I was for real expecting people to give me what they cannot give me but God did not care about that part, He just wanted to tell me that He feels it and to make me feel His love. He wants to do the same for you! He wants you to know that He sees you, He loves you, He knows what you are going through and He is with you even in the middle of it.
The lies I was believing in had gotten deep roots in me but God has been digging all the roots up when in His presence. He is calling you to go into His presence today, to be comforted, to be reminded of who He is, His goodness, mercy, and love for you. You are unique and you bring a touch of value only you can bring to this world.
Prayer: Father God, I thank you for your unmerited love. I thank you for always being there even when I don’t feel it. I thank you that you are always ready to show me your kindness and mercy. I pray for every person reading Your word today, may You give them peace in the midst of the storm, and may You draw them closer to You to feel and get everything You want them to get today. May you hug them and tell them how much You love them. May You grant them the desire to come into your presence every day whether they are happy or sorrowful. I also pray that they discover the purpose you have put in them and live by it. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
