Daily Reflection: I Worship, I Believe, I Point to Jesus

Today, I offer God a sacrifice of praise. Your Word reminds me that praise is not only a feeling but an act of obedience—“the fruit of lips that openly profess His name” (Hebrews 13:15). I declare that when I speak the name of Jesus, I am giving God honor. My worship today is intentional, grounded, and sincere.

I declare that because Jesus lives in me, I will never thirst. Jesus Himself promised that “whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life”(John 4:13–14). I choose to stop seeking fulfillment in temporary things. Christ within me is my constant source, my sustainer, and my peace.

Today, I worship God in spirit and in truth. Your Word says that “true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks” (John 4:23). I come before You honestly—without pretense, without performance—trusting that You desire my heart more than perfection.

Like the Samaritan woman, I acknowledge that faith sometimes begins with hope and expectation. She knew the Messiah was coming and believed He would explain everything (John 4:25). And when Jesus revealed Himself to her—“I, the one speaking to you—I am He” (John 4:26)—her life was forever changed. Today, I declare that I believe Jesus reveals Himself to those who are seeking Him.

I choose to live out a faith that moves me outward. Like the Samaritan woman, I run and tell others—not because I have all the answers, but because I have encountered Jesus. Her words were simple: “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” (John 4:29). I declare that God can use my testimony, even if it is still unfolding.

I believe that faith does not always require signs or wonders. Your Word shows that many Samaritans believed simply because they heard the Word and encountered Jesus themselves (John 4:39–42). Today, I declare that the Word of God is enough, and that lives—including my own—are transformed through it.

Prayer:
Lord, let my life be a sacrifice of praise. Fill me again with Your living water. Teach me to worship You in spirit and in truth, and use my faith, my obedience, and my testimony to draw others to You. In every moment—morning or night, I choose to worship, I choose to believe, and I choose to point to Jesus. Amen.
